Digital Eye Strain

Looking at a digital device for too long can strain your eyes. When you use a digital device, your eyes have to focus and refocus as the screen changes.

Long days in front of a screen can be hard on your eyes

Some signs that you’ve been looking at a digital screen too long include dry eyes, headaches, and blurred vision.

Tips to protect your eyes from your computer screen

Make sure to follow the 20-20-20 rule to give your eyes a break: look 20 metres away for 20 seconds, every 20 minutes. Also, keep your computer screen an arm’s length away from your face and slightly below eye level. And always remember to blink! If you need vision correction, schedule an appointment with your Optometrist.
