Get Contact Lenses

Contact lenses have to be prescribed and dispensed by an Eye Care Practitioner/Optometrist. They are medical devices that must fit your eyes and correct your particular vision correction needs.

Six steps to get contact lenses

If you would like to find out if contact lenses are right for you, follow these steps:

  1. Use our online tool which lists some Eye Care Practitioner/Optometrists near you.
Make an appointment with them or any other practice of your choice for an eye examination and contact lens fitting (fitting fees may apply).
  2. Find out how to get a Free Trial of ACUVUE® Brand Contact Lenses here.

If you and your Eye Care Practitioner/Optometrist agree contact lenses are a good choice for you:

  1. Decide together which is the best type of contact lens for you.
  2. Have your contact lens fitting and try some on to make sure you get the right fit for your eyes.
  3. Follow your Eye Care Practitioner/Optometrist’s instructions for putting on, taking off and replacing your contact lenses.
  4. If you choose reusable contact lenses, your Eye Care Practitioner/Optometrist will show you how to clean them.

You’ll be able to trial contact lenses for few days, after which remember to visit our Eye care Practitioner/Optometrist again as requested to check the health of your eyes and that you are wearing the right contact lenses for you. You’ll then be able to buy and wear your contact lenses straight away, provided your Eye Care Practitioner/Optometrist has some in stock. However, you may have to go back in a few days or a week or so to buy and collect your full supply.
If your contact lenses become uncomfortable or you notice your eyesight deteriorating, it is best to remove the lenses and contact your Eye Care Practitioner/Optometrist as soon as you can.
