What are Contact Lenses?

Contact Lenses

Contact lenses have been around for many years and can correct vision problems (such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism or presbyopia).

In the past, older generations of contact lenses tended to be less comfortable and reduced the flow of oxygen to the cornea to some extent. With improved technology, new contact lens materials like silicone hydrogels supply adequate oxygen to the eye and allow your eyes to breathe more easily.

If fitted by an optometrist, almost anyone can wear contact lenses.
